After nearly 8 months of intervening period since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the formal coronation ceremony of King Charles III and his succession to the British throne has taken place today.

It was followed by the magnificent procession starting from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace, via Trafalgar Square and The Mall.

The procession was truly remarkable in its scale and execution. But I would have personally wished that the procession route was slightly longer to reach Hyde Park!
