1 Information
Microsoft Urban Assault is officially translated and localised into 4 different languages with full text and audio support: English, German (original), French, and Japanese. This information is also available in the game's credits section.
The game was mainly targeted to be sold commercially in Europe/North America/Japan video gaming markets. A full text and voice localisation of a European game into Japanese video game market was also quite rare for its time.
Metropolis Dawn Expansion Pack has the official translations of English, German (original), and French languages. Urban Assault Trial is only available in English version.

3 Trivia
- For unknown reasons, the voice message sound file for the event when a Taerkasten player is eliminated during the multiplayer matches (25181.wav) is only present in the French retail release version of Urban Assault.
- Some mistranslation errors are present in the English version briefing text of Metropolis Dawn when compared to the original German briefing text. This is most likely a minor oversight or a mistake during the translation.
