Welcome to the Sulgogar forum. This is a faction-specific forum for the Sulgogar faction in Microsoft Urban Assault. Feel free to discuss various topics about Sulgogar here.

    Faction Overview

The Sulgogar is a faction in Microsoft Urban Assault.

The Sulgogar is a vegetative, bionic off-world species whose powers reside in biotechnology, genetic manipulation, and cloning. The Sulgogars hope to claim Earth and its scarce remaining surface ocean as a spawning ground, but their numbers are few and they are rarely encountered. All Sulgogars vehicles use particle beam. The Sulgogars initially migrated into the Earth's deep ocean shortly before the Big Mistake, where they had remained hidden and undetected for a long time. They despise humanity for causing the environmental collapse and pollution, which destroy their habitats in the process.

    Vehicles & Buildings

    Sulgogars

A plantlike, bionic off-world species, the Sulgogars hope to claim Earth as a spawning ground. Their vehicle-creation technology is more advanced than ours, although it appears to be based on genetic manipulation and cloning. Diplomacy has failed. They view humans as fertilizer.

What little we know about the Sulgogar vehicles exists here. We have no information about their buildings, although we imagine that they, too, exist. You cannot play as a Sulgogar during a multiplayer game.

    Vehicles

    Sulgogar Queen

This living mothership looks like a giant jellyfish, as befits the command center for the plantlike Sulgogars. Although it has only modest "shielding," the organic Queen defends herself with incredibly powerful electrical discharges. But the Queen can be taken out through persistent attacks and is rumored to be easier to destroy than a Mykonian mothership. The Queen is first encountered in the middle of the campaign.

    Blue Spore

The Blue Spore, an airborne biounit, fires a blue-light energy bolt and has a very short lifespan. Sometimes called the MiniSlime, this cloudlike weapon can also create a poison that can destroy your units. They are lightly shielded, but their small size and extremely high air speed make them difficult to target. The Blue Spore is first encountered in the middle of the campaign.

    Mean Green

The Mean Green, an airborne warrior unit, fights with an energy flash like that of an eel. These plant/animal hybrid weapons (registered as a MOAUS-Z–class alien creature) have organic barklike shielding that provides strong protection befitting its warrior status in the Sulgogar hierarchy. Additionally, they can be tough to defeat in large numbers. The Mean Green is first encountered late in the campaign.

    Slime Lord

The Slime Lord, a large mushroom-type entity (officially recorded as an AMM-O–class alien creature), creates energy flashes typical of Sulgogar weapons, but with a bigger bang that does twice the damage. The Slime Lord also has the toughest hide. For mysterious reasons, these are typically deployed against host stations in pods of three or four units. The Slime Lord isn't encountered until late in the campaign.

    Little Brother

The Little Brother, a ROA-O–class weapon, is used for reconnaissance by the Sulgogar Queen. In appearance it is virtually indistinguishable from the Blue Spore, but its 0.001% difference in DNA renders its offensive capabilities inert.
